Stopped charging the car battery.
Receive the device, record what the customer says, diagnose it with your own codes, price the parts and labour, and bill it — in the same system that runs your stock, your customers and your books.
One record follows the device from the counter to the customer’s invoice.
Parts and labour are drawn from Inventory and priced on the order.
Signed-off work becomes a customer invoice in Accounts receivable.
Register every kind of device once. Each visit opens an order for a customer you already manage, so nobody retypes who, what or when.
Groups are your own list. A service object is one registered unit, optionally linked to an inventory item, and can be reused on every later order.

Every repair is recorded with codes you define: what the customer reported, the condition it arrived in, what the technician found and how it ended. The same words become your reports.
It clicks, hums, and then nothing. The forklift battery is flat again by Monday.
A code belongs to one area. Choose the code and its area is set for you; a code from another area is refused.
Draw the stages your shop really uses. Each stage says what an order may do there, and a cancel stage can insist on a reason, so “cost too high” is a recorded answer and not a guess.
A repair in a finished stage is stamped with its finish time. An order can only be signed off when its repairs are finished, if you choose so.
Labour, parts, fees and expenses are lines on the order, edited right in the grid. A part line is an item from your Inventory, so you see what is on the shelf before you promise a date.

Signing off freezes the order so nobody changes a price the customer already accepted. Posting turns the open lines into a single invoice, and the rest of the ERP does what it always does with an invoice.
Customers, stock, numbering, permissions and the books already live in your ERP. Service Management uses them where they are, so there is nothing to export, reconcile or retype.
Hand over a ticket at the counter, give a receipt at pickup, and let the customer follow the repair from their phone. The same stages you already use send the messages.
